5.63” Megalodon Tooth

5.63” American Megalodon Tooth (Southeast U.S.A.) This tooth appers much larger than it is.. At 4.56" wide it is almost as wide as tall. When on display, most are surprised to learn this is not a 6"+ Megalodon tooth.
Missing little enamel.
Serrated edges few feeding marks.
Outstanding tip with miniscule chip.
Very minor root damage. 
No restorations, repairs or cosmetic work. All natural tooth!

This Megalodon tooth just is hard to capture in a photo. No matter how I tried i just could not capture how in person this tooth looks so much bigger than it really is!

FYI: By analyzing the teeth of young megalodons, paleontologists say hat a new born megalodon  may have been 6'.6" long.
